Software /Firmware Engineer

Design, code, test and debug embedded firmware in wide variety of new product developments. Programming experience with C /C++, Assembler and DSP coding an asset. 

Previous experience with several of the following: Motorola /Freescale HC12 family, 9S12, DSP, i8051, Atmel AVR, ARM core processors. Demonstrated knowledge of microcontroller peripherals and architectures. Ability to specify microcontroller pin assignment to suit firmware design solutions. 

Knowledge of IP stack design and operation an asset, RS232 /RS485 and communication protocol design experience. Real-time debugging skills and emulators. Video /audio streaming and end-to-end microcontroller product design experience for end user applications an asset. 

B.Sc. or M.Sc. Electrical Engineering.
