Manager Engineering, Aircraft Design & Modifications

Create and manage a high performance aircraft modification design and engineering technical services team to support company structural modification and avionics update projects. Provide overall direction to the design engineers and specialists. Manage engineering task completion to budget and schedule. Coordinate engineering activities with engineering operations. Manage staff levels and qualifications to meet the annual work plans. Ensure compliance with company engineering, EH&S, airworthiness, and quality requirements. Prepare and manage overhead and capital budgets. Develop, maintain, and continuously improve engineering processes, procedures, and policies to optimize efficiency. 

Qualifications required: Previous related experience with aircraft design, modification, completions and engineering programs. Proven experience managing multi-discipline teams in aircraft design and engineering development environments. Experience with program budget control and delivery of projects to projected milestone completion dates. Management of policies / procedures within established company guidelines. 

B.Sc. / M.Sc. Engineering or related discipline.
